So, again, I find myself disagreeing with pretty much every point that you make and I am wondering how that is possible. Are our life experiences that significantly different? I am white CIS gendered male and grew up in community that was predominantly white. It wasn't until I went in to the Peace Corps in 1990 that I saw lives being led in ways that were demonstrably different than mine. Ever since then, I have found difference to be fascinating. I have been a High School teacher in diverse communities for many years. I have worked in poverty alleviation around the world for about 4 years and also I worked in the tech sector for about 10 years. I have always assumed that my progressive values come from my experiences.
