So, my story’s similar yours. Teacher for 10 years. Left to go do businessy stuff. I wasn’t it when I was a teacher. I wasn’t it when I was businessy. I’m not it now. I am one of many. Their is no epiphany, no true self, no i-had-it-wrong-but-this-time-i-got-it-right. It’s not about you and your whiteness and your money.
