Sure. That comment was insufficient and maybe a bit childish. Sorry. What I was reacting to is the term “at-risk” which I am sure you know well as a teacher. It feels disingenuous to use that term in this context.
The protocols of neighborliness are in contestation with the protocols of purity and the most important question we can ask ourselves is “Who is my neighbor?”
